We’re Half Way There!

Norm Beal, Volunteer Chair of the Together We Build Healthy Communities Capital Campaign for the Niagara West YMCA is happy to announce that the campaign has reached the halfway mark.

“I’m proud of the work that the many volunteers have done and I am pleased to say that we have raised $1.3 million to date. This is a little over half of the $2.5 million that the community is being asked to contribute for the new Niagara West YMCA facility. We are still working hard and we continue to look for community support.”

Major Donors such as Jordan Engineering, Durward Jones Barkwell, the McNally family, TD Bank and BMO have generously supported the Niagara West YMCA Capital Campaign. With construction 40% complete, the new YMCA will be opening its doors this Fall.
